Nyinahin Bauxite-to-Alumina
Refinery & TTS Ore Corridor

Ashanti Region to Takoradi Port — In Association with Prestige Diamond Industries Limited

Ghana holds one of the world’s largest and highest-quality bauxite reserves. The Nyinahin deposit in the Ashanti Region is among the most significant — yet it has never been processed in-country. For decades, Ghana’s bauxite has been exported as raw ore, capturing only a fraction of the value that alumina refining would generate. The Nyinahin Bauxite-to-Alumina Refinery project is designed to change that permanently.

REGA Global, in association with Prestige Diamond Industries Limited (PDIL), is developing an integrated project that combines a full-scale alumina refinery at the Shama site in the Western Region with a dedicated ore supply corridor running from the Nyinahin mine to the refinery and onward to Takoradi Port. The refinery will process Ghanaian bauxite into alumina for export to global aluminium smelters — capturing the value-addition premium in-country, creating skilled employment, and generating sustained government revenue from a resource Ghana already owns.

What makes this project distinctive is the integrated design of the ore supply system. Rather than relying on conventional road or rail transport across difficult terrain, the project deploys REGA Global’s own Tubular Transportation System (TTS) — an overland pneumatic pipeline conveyor — as the ore supply corridor. The TTS operates continuously, automatically, and at lower cost than any alternative transport solution across the same terrain, making it the enabling technology that brings the project’s operating economics into a class of their own.

Project Highlights
Integrated design — mine, TTS ore corridor, refinery, and port in a single project structure
In-country value addition — bauxite processed to alumina in Ghana, not exported as raw ore
TTS ore supply corridor — REGA’s pneumatic pipeline as the backbone of ore delivery
Nyinahin to Shama to Takoradi — mine to refinery to deep-water export port
Zero sovereign debt impact — ring-fenced project structure with Government equity participation
DFI compatible — designed for AfDB, AFC, and IFC co-investment
IMF programme compatible — structure aligned to Ghana’s current fiscal commitments
Project Partners
Prestige Diamond Industries Limited (PDIL)
Originating project proponent and development sponsor. PDIL holds the concession relationships and in-country development rights for the Nyinahin corridor.

REGA Global Inc.
Technology deployment partner and project co-proponent, responsible for the TTS ore corridor design, financing structure, and international capital assembly.

Government of Ghana
Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources as primary government counterpart, with the Office of the President engaged on the project’s development.

Ghana’s bauxite has been in the ground for generations. The infrastructure to transform it from a raw export commodity into a refined industrial product — alumina — has never been built. This project builds it. The TTS ore corridor, the refinery, and the port connection together constitute a complete value chain that Ghana can own, operate, and profit from for generations to come.

Project 02 — Ghana

Ghana National
Aviation Project

A New National Carrier and Aviation Infrastructure Platform — In Association with World Aviator Group

Aviation connectivity is one of the most consequential constraints on West African economic development. Ghana — one of the continent’s most politically stable and commercially open economies — has not had a viable national carrier since Ghana Airways ceased operations in 2004. The absence of a Ghanaian flag carrier limits intra-African connectivity, reduces Ghana’s leverage in bilateral air service negotiations, and means that the economic value of the country’s aviation sector flows primarily to foreign carriers.

REGA Global is engaged with World Aviator Group (WAG), led by Captain Joe Schoofs, in the development of a comprehensive national aviation project for Ghana. The project is structured around two complementary vehicles: an airport infrastructure holding company and an airline operating company — a dual-vehicle approach that separates the long-life infrastructure asset from the more dynamic operating business, enabling optimal financing for each.

A foundational element of the project is the participation of the Asantehene, His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, whose land assets — held through the Ashanti Institute — provide a substantial equity foundation for the project under a long-term land concession arrangement. The Asantehene’s involvement gives the project deep roots in Ghanaian tradition, institutional legitimacy, and a uniquely powerful basis for engaging both the Government of Ghana and international capital markets.

The project is designed for listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange, creating a structure that allows Ghana’s diaspora community — one of the most economically active in Africa — to invest directly in their country’s aviation future. The GSE listing also provides the liquidity framework that enables institutional investors, export credit agencies financing aircraft acquisition, and development finance institutions to participate alongside founding sponsors.

Project Highlights
Dual-vehicle structure — airport infrastructure holdco and airline operating company
Asantehene land concession — a uniquely strong Ghanaian institutional foundation
Ghana Stock Exchange listing — opening Ghana’s aviation future to diaspora and institutional investors
West African hub strategy — positioning Accra as the regional aviation centre of gravity
ECA fleet financing — export credit agency structures for aircraft acquisition
Strategic airline partner — operational partnership with an established African carrier
Project Partners
World Aviator Group (WAG)
Project proponent and aviation operations lead, led by Captain Joe Schoofs. WAG holds the aviation expertise, route planning, and operational relationships that form the airline operating company’s foundation.

REGA Global Inc.
Capital markets structuring, financing architecture, and international investor engagement. Responsible for the GSE listing strategy and the overall capital stack design.

The Ashanti Institute
Land asset contribution under the direction of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, providing the foundational equity and institutional credibility of the project.

Ghana’s geography, political stability, and commercial openness make it the natural hub of West African aviation. The combination of the Asantehene’s participation, a Ghana Stock Exchange listing, and a dual-vehicle structure designed for long-term operational excellence gives this project a foundation unlike any previous Ghanaian aviation initiative. It is designed not merely to establish an airline, but to build an enduring national aviation asset that serves Ghana and the region for generations.

Both projects deploy REGA Global’s technologies and financing capabilities where they matter most — at the scale of national transformation.
